Join us for holiday cheer as we light up Winnona Park for our annual holiday luminaria and neighborhood gathering, sponsored by your Winnona Park Neighborhood Association.
To purchase: Luminaria (paper bags, sand and tea light candles) are $2 per bag, available from 1:30 to 4:30 pm at the small parking area behind Winnona Park Elementary School. Cash, check or cards accepted.
How many do you need? We recommend 1 bag per 3 feet of frontage.
Prepurchase for a discount: Order online and then pickup at the school between 1:30 and 4:30 pm.
At sundown, light up those candles, pack up some goodies to share, and then follow the sound of Winnona Park’s own bagpiper, Jack Amick, to the Shadowmoor/Poplar bridge, sparkling with an abundance of holiday lights. Mix and mingle with your neighbors and enjoy a potluck dessert bar, hot cocoa and holiday beverages from the Mosser Group, and live music. Bo Emerson and his holiday horns section will play, followed by a caroling group organized by Kate Merrihew.
